Tarawiwat Water Treatment Plant

Client: Municipality of Phuket
Area: District Muang, Phuket
Description
The Tarawiwat Water Treatment plant provides a minimum production capacity of 6,500,000 liters/day for potable water of Phuket City. All water produced at Tarawiwat meets strict water quality standards and uses the latest technology in water treatment, ultrafiltration membrane . All filtered water is treated to ensure purity when it reaches common residences.
Untreated water is pumped from a local raw water source to the plant where it is then put through a process of pretreatment. This process includes aeration and slow sand filtration that allows highly turbid portions of the untreated water to be removed. Once raw water has been pretreated, it is then filtered through he ultrafiltration process and then chlorinated.
Chao Fah Water Treatment Plant

Client: Provincial Waterworks Authority
Area: Wichit Sub-district, Mueang District, Phuket
Description
The Chao Fa Water Treatment Plant provides a minimum output of 3,000,000 liters/day of potable water to the Provincial Waterworks Authority (PWA) in the Wichit and Mueang districts of Phuket
The Chao Fa plant makes use of a hybrid filtration system, using both conventional and new technologies to produce filtered water. These technologies include slow sand filtration and ultrafiltration membrane techniques. Pretreatment of raw water before filtration involves chemical flocculation and sedimentation by use of a pulsator clarifier. Once water has passes both pretreatment and filtration, it is treated with chlorine and pumped to grid.
Kathu 1 Water Treatment Plant

Client: Provincial Waterworks Authority
Area: Kathu District, Phuket
Description
The Kathu1 Water Treatment Plant provides a minimum output of 1,600,000 liters/day of potable water to the Provincial Waterworks Authority (PWA) in the Kathu districts of Phuket.
